I'm working on book 2 of the Springbok Chronicles. In it, war has broken out despite all efforts to stop it. We finally get to see Springbok used as the commerce raider she was built to be, but things will never be as simple as all that.

From many sources, of course, but the primary inspiration would be from the historical novel, "Cruise of the Raider Wolf" by Roy Alexander. It's the amazing true story of one of the world's first Q-ships. The is the function and intent of ESS Springbok in my book.
