Sanchita Pandey I am busy editing my soon to be published book 'BEING in Peace'. This is my fourth book and I am really looking forward enthusiastically for it's release on Kindle and Amazon!
Sanchita Pandey This is one recent real-life incident which can be termed mysterious for anyone any day! I failed to recognize my own mother! She was critically ill and I went to meet her in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital where she was admitted. As I looked around for her, every woman patient looked to me like my mom! They were all very old, frail, partially sedated, lying on the hospital bed with their eyes closed and the ventilator aiding them in breathing. I just could not comprehend what had happened to me. Standing in the center of the hospital room, I felt so little and gazed upwards to somehow seek God's assistance. Here, my mom of 82 years was so near to me yet so far -- the lovely woman who had fed me with love, educated me, always stood by me through thick and thin and to whom I actually owed my very existence. How was it that each of these women looked so much like my mother? What lesson lay beneath this predicament? After a while, I helplessly relented and asked the nurse on duty for my dear mother's address. I walked towards my mom's hospital bed and stood beside her. Yes! She was indeed the lovely old lady who had been my inspiration in life. She had lived a beautiful life... and so had all the other women in the room. They were actually alike in the kind of love they had shared and the bonds of relationship they had created. That day, stuck in dilemma, I lived a few moments of being a nobody looking for answers from the universe. And in those few moments of 'non-existence of self', I understood that mothers --- all mothers and my own very beautiful mother was far, far greater than I could ever understand in my life for the treasure of love they had shared with the world.
A few days later, my mother was no more. But I knew that I had to continue doing good work and practice everything she had taught me and stood for. I resolved that I would reach out for the stars with her blessings because that is where she would meet me now. In dying, she taught me that we are all essentially part of a single consciousness and after death, we are one with the Supreme Consciousness.
Sanchita Pandey The greatest knowledge is knowing yourself! Develop and upgrade your skill/vocation which will attract people to you for your expertise. Hone your communication skills by daily reading and practice (in front of a mirror). Also, do not get overwhelmed by smart people. Appreciate them for what they are, talk to them and work on your personality (the way you dress, cleanliness etc.) and overall disposition. However, remember, 'Be Yourself'. Do not emulate others, only learn their positive qualities which you adore. Speak authentically. Be true to your every word. Everyone loves an honest person! Love, Sanchita Pandey
Sanchita Pandey The inspiration for writing 'Cancer to Cure' came from interacting with patients in HCG hospital, Bangalore. I thought that if I put my thoughts in the form of a book, I will reach out and inspire many more patients all around the world!
Sanchita Pandey I decide the topic on which I will write next and keep thinking about it constantly. At any time of the day, I just get a flow of thoughts --- the starting, the stories I can incorporate in the chapter, quotes etc. This is when I sit with my laptop and start typing and compiling all my ideas!
Sanchita Pandey Well, right now I am working on my second book which is about how to be happy always! It will be published soon. Till then, keep smiling!
Sanchita Pandey My advice to aspiring writers is ---
1. Start writing when you really want to convey something to people.
2. Believe in the subject you are writing on.
3. Read a lot of books to have a grasp on your subject and to know about what other authors have written on the topic.
4. Delve deep into the subject and take your time to produce your best work!
Sanchita Pandey Well, the best thing about being a writer is that you actually want to say so much and you have the means to empty your heart and share your knowledge. You are fortunate to reach out to interested readers.
Sanchita Pandey I keep pondering on the topic I wish to write on and sit down to write only when I have some new ideas in my mind. Till then, I have to keep waiting for the right inspiration!
