What are you currently working on?
Yerachmiel B. Altman Two ideas using same stuffed animals who have diabetes theme: going to school and summer activities (camp).
If any ideas out there for necessary books for children who have diabetes please respond or forward to me - always looking for more topics.

How do you get inspired to write?
Yerachmiel B. Altman Inspiration is in the photographs. I spent a lot of time setting up the stuffed animals and the diabetic hardware  in order to make it look as realistic as possible. The writing comes from having pictures arranged in story line and it begins to flow. If doesn't work need to drop and come back to it!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Yerachmiel B. Altman I was asked to help a family with a newly diagnosed six year old boy. Started creating pages with pictures of stuffed animals and simple poetry to explain the pictures. When I had about two dozen pages the boys parents and other friends pushed me to look into publication.
