The best thing about being a writer is that you get to tell as many stories as you want. You get to create imaginary friends that are always with you and that you can take a journey with. But I have to say the best thing ever about being a writer is finally seeing that book you've been working so hard to make the best it can be in your hands with a shiny cover and lots of pages.

Right now I'm working on the sequel to Weapon Icean and a standalone YA novel about a gypsy girl, a curse and a vampire.

I got my idea for Weapon Icean through Pinterest. That's usually where I got most of my ideas. I saw a drawing someone had made of a girl with ice legs and arms and shiny blue hair and I had already been thinking of a superhero with ice powers (in any comic or superhero movie or show the ones with the ice powers are always my favorites) and she just stuck.
