If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Jo-Anne Joseph Any world set by the amazing Agatha Christie, and I'd definitely be a character of hers. I see myself as the ultimate villain :)

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Jo-Anne Joseph I'm inspired by many different things. People, Songs etc. But most times my characters find their way to me and demand their story be told

How do you get inspired to write?
Jo-Anne Joseph I guess I have always wanted to write, I started very young and I just can't see myself doing anything else.

What are you currently working on?
Jo-Anne Joseph I'm working on several wip's which is kind of distracting lol

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Jo-Anne Joseph Write, write, write... Write what makes you feel happy, write what makes you sad, listen to the voice inside and don't be afraid to stumble a few times. Network with other authors, ask for advice.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jo-Anne Joseph I can't believe I missed this. The best thing for me is that I get to express the stories I have within me and breathe life into them.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jo-Anne Joseph A good glass of wine and a good book or movie. If I take myself away from the block, I find my way back pretty easily.

Why did you change the cover of Siren? This really irritates me because that is part of the lure for me buying the book. I have lost interest in even reading it. I can understand updating a cover if it's tacky but there was nothing wrong with the cover art.
Jo-Anne Joseph Hi there Lori, I have not changed the original cover of Siren since it's release in 2017.
