pt. 1--July 2014 when I was at a worship conference, and the concept, that you are worth loving no matter what happens to you--no matter how broken or messed up, just kinda smacked me between the brows. Basically a picture of unconditional love from the Father. And I was like--''Gotta write a book with that theme!" it was out of that concept that Phantom's Daughter was born! But I can't give too much away with that one without spoilers, so...
pt. 2--Ethan Fellows was in book 1 (Present History) and I couldn't just leave him alone without his own book, so I had to write one. This is it! Also--I've always been a sucker for those female pirates or outlaws, who everyone thinks is a man, is actually a lady--and shocks everyone. Yeah, always been a fan of those--so, hence--Hunter North!

Finishing edits on book two in the Hands of Time series (titled Phantom's Daughter), working on rewrites for book three, and writing the first draft of three other novels outside the Hands of Time series. One's a historical romantic suspense, the other two are contemporary romantic suspense!

Two things.
1) Write, write, and write some more. Just keep writing, even if it is never seen by another soul, each time you write, it is building the foundation that will, over time, improve your quality.
2) Focus on quality, not quantity. Remember that foundation we were talking about a second ago? If you focus on quantity first, your book may end up about as interesting or moving as a dictionary.
However, if you focus on quality first and keep practising your craft, the quantity part will naturally take care of itself.
