I have played with the story in my mind since I was 18 ... never having the courage to write it down, fearing that if I got started, I would never finish. Finally I wrote it down. Then, it took me several years, and a suportive wife, for me to actually publish it.

I don't know ... I just feel like writing, so I sit down and start typing. But sometimes when I am going about my daily life I will think of something ... spend the day trying to remember what I wanted to add to the story, and when I get home, talk with my wife, eat dinner, and promptly forget what I had tried to remember all day.

I have never had it ... I hear people talk about it, so I believe it exists for others. Perhaps I don't have it because I only write when I want to.

Because I write (for the most part) fantasy ... it opens your mind to more creative thoughts ... Colors just feel brighter.
