I love being a full-time writer. Here are just a few of the reasons why: I have the freedom to pursue any topic, uncover a hidden story, make known important facts, get the words just right, bring knowledge to the people, help solve a problem, set my own hours, be paid for doing what I love, and so much more! Being a writer is UNLIMITED!

My husband, an engineer, asked me the same thing. I asked him how he deals with engineer's block. To me there isn't any difference. You just sit down and do the work. Sometimes I will need to pause and ask for inspiration to make the right connections, tie something from an example in the beginning to the conclusion. And confidentially, I'm not that brilliant of a writer; I have to give God the credit for anything you think is particularly well done.

I'm working on the next UP! Daily Devotional. When I get to the end of one book I have so many more UP! ideas! We'll see how far the series goes, but I may keep it as a running side project as I pursue new topics. Our creative God has so much for us to learn and explore!
