Hi, Leigh. Both series are set in the same magical universe and can be read independently. However, chronologically, the events of the Fire Salamander Chronicles take place before the events of the Shadow Enforcer series.

The idea of the Fire Salamander was born while I was working on the character of Kal, the Fire Elemental. I was researching all possible magical beings who could represent the magnificent Fire Elemental and came across Salamanders in medieval lore. That’s how the idea of the Fire Salamander came to life.
