All of my books have come to me firstly as images. I can see a scene and a character, and the whole world of the novel springs forth from that one image in my imagination.
It happens at odd times. I'll be on the cusp of falling asleep. Or I'll be driving and a new song comes on. Once I was even sitting in the manicure chair, fingers trapped in a bowl of polish remover - when a random music charts show played a video clip I'd never seen and couldn't hear - and an entire novel exploded its way into my head.
After I see that scene and begin to get it out of me and to develop it, I have to feel my way to find out what the overall plot is to match.

The sequel to 'The Last Larnaeradee' - 'The Raiden' is going to be up on Amazon by April 2019 so help me Gods. And not long after that Book 3 - 'The Army for the World' will follow. I'm just in the final edits phase for both novels, and then my three book series will be complete.
I'm looking forward to returning my attention to a stand alone dystopian novel set far in the future called 'The Dreamer and the Star'. The protagonist Mitch has a voice that just has to be heard - and after spending all of time granting the dreams of humanity, he has found himself in an era where dreams are dying. I have to help him out of that situation. Preferably before we get that far into the future.

Terribly. I procrastinate, I let work get in the way, I let functions get in the way, and then I mourn my lack of writing time. But then a good song or a good chat with the right person gets the creative magic flowing once more.
