One of my best buddies from college went on holiday to Sydney. He came back, said he’d fallen in love with surfing, packed his room and left. Never heard from or saw him again (and yes I’ve tried to contact him!) Love to know what happened in those 7 days he was first there.

I personally don't think there such a thing as writer's block, although it is entirely possible to get stuck on what you're writing. When that happens I just skip that chapter and write the next one, then you come back and fix it in editing.
