I get my inspiration from people watching. Expressions... laughter. A couple walking hand in hand. Some of my inspiration is internal, digging deep into my own life experiences and emotion. Most of all I'm inspired to write by knowing that I might bring joy to a reader in the same way I love to read.

I don't get stuck often but when I do I usually just push through it and edit later. The water always wakes my muse up so a long walk on the beach helps.

In Sweet Harmony (my May 2015 release) I combined my love of country music and romance. I thought it would be fun to pit a pop singer and classic country singer together when their record label wants them to do a duet.
