I just write whatever comes to mind - even if I hate it. Worse comes to worst, I can always trash it and go back to the drawing board. But if I don't write anything, there's nothing to work from - so I write despite the writer's block. Always.

I'm constantly inspired by my favorite authors - Sarah Dessen, Maria Luis, Penny Reid, etc. But I think the hardest thing to do is write in those UNinspired moments - so that's what I do. I chose a writing time and I write at that time Monday thru Friday. (I tend to take the weekends off to hang out with my daughter and husband.)

Ah, so many choices! I think I would travel to Emelan, where The Circle of Magic (by Tamora Pierce) takes place. Pierce's Circle of Magic series is one of my all-time favorites, and the way the scenery is described, Emelan sounds like a bustling, awesome place to be.
