If I'm struggling to put the words "to paper," which means "typing," and especially if I'm feeling critical of myself and I'm editing as I write (bad idea for me), I voice text the story into the voice memos on my phone, so at least the ideas are out of my head. I am not a writer who can hand write my thoughts or the book itself. So, this voice-text approach keeps my flow going and captures the ideas so I can return to them later when my block is lifted.
