I always get stuck in the middle of a book. Sometimes I get unstuck by going back and reading what I've already written to immerse myself in the story again. Sometimes all I can do is put pen to paper and start writing, even if it's just a list of objects in the room. It's been called "priming the pump."

I'm currently working on book 5 of my Mercy series, Mercy's Joy, while editing book 4, Mercy's King, as it comes back from the editor. I won't published book 4 until book 5 is finished, though, because they need one another much more than the first 3!
