What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Nicole C. Salomone This has been said by other authors, but 'write every day.' It doesn't matter what you write, and it doesn't have to be for a purpose. But write something that has been rolling around your head for a while. Fiction, non-fiction, poetry, prose, a rant, a comic - it doesn't matter. Just write something every day.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Nicole C. Salomone It's expected that you have an imagination. So you never have to let it go.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Nicole C. Salomone I watch my favorite movies and let my inner child talk to the characters, as though they were sitting in front of us, rather than moving pictures on a screen.

Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?
Nicole C. Salomone Then the apathy spread. And it never got any better.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Nicole C. Salomone I have always loved researching the history of medicine. While achieving my BA, I noticed that the current scholarship had an economic narrative, a social narrative, and a religious narrative, but left out the medical history narrative. So I wrote it.
