Susan Carlisle Quit talking about writing a book and sit down and do it. Don't stop until you write THE END.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Susan Carlisle I take a shower or go swimming. Something about the waters lets my mind go free and then the answer comes to me.

Susan Carlisle Meeting readers. I love people who love to read. I'm a reader first and foremost so I really appreciate people who can talk books with me.

Susan Carlisle I'm currently working on a Harlequin medical romance that takes place in a children's hospital. I really like my characters in this one.

Susan Carlisle A good story idea. I usually start with a place then put characters there and then I off...

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Susan Carlisle I have a son who has had a heart transplant. He was pretty much raised in a children's hospital so I'm writing a new Harlequin medical about the ER department of a children's hospital. I plan a series of 4 books about the hospital.
