Hi there. I wish I could help, but I didn't fix that problem, I'm afraid. I went to the forums and asked one of the librarians to do so, and that kind person did so. I recommend doing the same.

Hmm...I think Sarah and Felix from the BBC series "Orphan Black", who some have said are the Duchess and Lysander of the sci-fi set. That's a little self-referential, though, so I'll turn to a literary example and say Arya Stark and Sandor Clegane from A Song of Ice and Fire. While Clegane appears as more brutish, Arya is perhaps more sinister and just as dangerous. They work fairly well together, or at least as well as two traumatized and violent people can.

Hi James. Yes, there is a third book, and probably more after that! It's taken us a bit longer than normal to finish The Ruling Mask, but the good news is that the book itself will be longer than either of the first two.
Look for The Ruling Mask to surface in April or May, 2016. Until then, keep an eye on our site:

where we will post a spoiler chapter as soon as we know which one would be best.
Thanks for asking!

Honestly, I feel like there are only three things any writer can do: 1) write a good book; 2) promote the hell out of it; 3) hope to get lucky. That sounds so pessimistic but IMO it's true. Some good books are ignored and some bad books are celebrated, and I don't know the magic formula that determines which.
I *can* say, however, that one should never assume that what is published is what is good. Publishers are a money-making venture first and foremost, and they'll publish whatever they think will sell, period.

I am most creative while walking, and I walk a LOT, which gives me lots of time to come up with stuff.
