The immigration stories. My great-great grandparents from Ireland, and my grandfather from Slovenia (then Austria-Hungary) when he was 17. And how he ended up traveling in first class...Hmm. I know there's a good story there.

Hi Shannon - so sorry I'm just seeing this now. Yes, I'm almost finished with Christmastime 1945: A Love Story. It will be the final book in the series. I hope to make it available in September. I'm working on the third book in my Christmastime series - Christmastime 1942. It's very close to being finished. And I'm working on a contemporary novel set in Seattle - I just returned from a visit there where I did a little research. I lived there for seven years many years ago and it was great to be back in some of the places I used to frequent - Queen Anne Hill, Post Alley, Madison Park, Pike Place Market.

I'm currently working on the third book in my Christmastime series - Christmastime 1942.
The idea for the first book (Christmastime 1940: A Love Story), began as a one-page short story I wrote over twenty years ago. The story always stayed with me, and a few years ago I decided to dig around in the story and see what else was there, what the pull was - a whole world opened up to me, and the series was born.
