My ideas come from everywhere, everything, people in my life, strangers, or maybe something I read or viewed on television. Sometimes my ideas just start, and they build and form into a set idea. Usually when they start, they will just stick until I get it all out onto paper.

I enjoy writing because for a long time I was a stay at home mom. It gave me something to do when the house was quiet, and the kid was asleep. I'm also bipolar, and sometimes I needed something constructive to do with all of my rioting emotions I sometimes have. Writing has given me an outlet, and helped me to focus.

I can relate to this post entirely. I've often thought about writing as an outlet, but self doubt kicks in. I love getting lost in the mind of others.

Currently I am working on a project that is a little different for me. Normally I write contemporary romance novels, and I do enjoy it, however I wanted something with a twist this time around. It is about a girl that was born and raised in the mafia, and when she was right she watched as her family was murdered in front of her eyes. Twenty years later she is back to show she's not so little anymore and starts to take apart the people who stole them away.

If writer's block hits, as it does with every writer, I take a break and walk away. I can't force my creativity, so that's a good time to take a little trip.
