I usually work on something else! So if one story get a bit bogged down, I will write something that appeals, even if it will never be anything worthy of being published! I do find that I write best if I am not reading any other works.

I am currently working on three stories. One, a novella, about a man coming to terms with his sexuality, finding love, and finding the courage to stand up to his bigoted father. Another is a dark fantasy, and the third is a supernatural/fantasy.

Lots of things inspire me. I love writing to prompts and have written a couple of novels based simply on a one word prompt!

I was inspired by a photograph of a rather attractive man with a large tattoo of roses intertwined with barbed wire down his left side. It got me to thinking how it would be hidden most of the time, and that went on to how he might have to hide more than his tattoo should his family not be sympathetic to his sexuality.
