For someone who struggled with writer's block for many years after my first book was published, I wish I have a ready answer to this. I can say from my experience though that while stories haunted and screamed out within my head, I did not shut them out. Writer's block is like coming out of a depression, you need to take baby steps. Write with every opportunity you get even if it means starting with well written social media posts.

Hmmmm...that's easy. The best thing for me about being a writer is watching people's face light up when they journey into the world I have created within the pages of my book. It gives me a great sense of gratitude to be so fortunate to be the ferryman of your imaginations.

I am currently working on a new novel set in an alt-reality Nigeria where the current status quo is not what it is today. I'd like to call it a political satire told with arrant sarcasm. I promise it will be worth your read. It should be released sometime in April/May.

Life! Life inspires me more than anything else. Everywhere I go and everyone I meet opens my eyes to a potential story. I ask a lot of questions. I get inspired by fragments of information I know about life. Whenever I am in a New York train, I look at a person and I ask inwardly, "what is your story?" I begin to imagine possible back stories which open my mind to new imaginary places

I got the idea to write "Bonfires of the gods" when I was in university. I had lived through first-hand, the events that are depicted in the novel so those stories haunted me for the longest time.
