Bonnie Berman Shores Over the spring and summer of 2019, I read everything written by Francine Rivers. I had known of her for a long time, but, for whatever reasons, I had deliberately ignored her books. I began with The Masterpiece and fell in love with the way the author combines a fictional story with God’s truth.

I also read my first Agatha Christie, And Then There Were None; Before the Fall (which had been on my TBR shelf for a long time); Glenn Greenwald’s book on Edward Snowden and US surveillance, No Place to Hide; The Wish Collector; and several YA love stories from Audible’s romance package.
Bonnie Berman Shores I wasn't encouraged to read as a child so I didn't start reading for pleasure until I was in my 20s. I imagine that I would have loved Dr. Seuss because I have a habit of rhyming everything all the time. I also think I would have loved Shel Silverstein since The Giving Tree remains one of my all-time favorite books. Anyway... the first book I remember falling in love with was The Bridges of Madison County, which also ignited a life-long fascination with India. In addition, I have to say that Twilight is responsible for my current love affair with YA paranormal romance.
Bonnie Berman Shores While I don't actually think of myself as a writer, I would have to say that the best thing about having written a book is that... I wrote a book! ;) It's a permanent, tangible thing that reflects where you were (metaphorically speaking) at that exact time of your life and it will continue to exist even when you don't.
Bonnie Berman Shores The follow-up to Genesis is Revelation.
Bonnie Berman Shores Back at the height of the Twilight craze, I was awakened from yet another Edward dream (embarrassing, I know) with the outline for Genesis filling my head. I believe this was a gift from God. He wanted me to have a Twilight of my own. What's amazing is that there were elements of the story that I hadn't known prior to this happening that turned out to be real. Biggest example: the fact that there really is an Eden, Georgia.
