He raged and charged, swinging the hatchet. She reached for her little boy's hand in the darkened hallway, but couldn't find it.

Probably something like West World. I'd explore it, and have fun there. I know it ends up being a scary place and have evil intent but, I always wonder- What if it was actually like the Disney/theme park it was meant to be.

I believe I grew up in a house that was "haunted". I have 6 other brothers and sisters, they each have their own experiences regarding this ghost. There were scary moments. I remember hearing footsteps several times upstairs when we were all downstairs, all at the table. I remember seeing a dark figure at the end of a dark hallway upstairs yet everyone was accounted for, when I ran down to the main floor. I remember heavy pounding late at night when we were all up stairs sleeping, Like a sledge hammer bashing into the wall. I don't know who or what it was but those incidents surely added to my Horror/Suspense background. RGA

I am finishing up the SAFE HAVEN TRILOGY and then I'll move to one I have been writing in my head, This year I'll also dust off my very first novel written and refurbish it. The characters sit in my living room or in my car drumming their fingers and giving me the hemorrhoid look as they wait for me to give them something to do.

I grow books like a gardener. I plant many seeds but while most of them look good, I cannot possibly harvest them all. The idea for the SAFE HAVEN TRILOGY came to me more than 20 years ago. It was the notion of ,"What if an alien presence "got into your body and it was a good thing?".

I can be inspired very easily so I am fortunate that i don't usually have to "get" inspired. If I seek a writer's mood I usually do things like stacking wood or cleaning, things that demand little attention. My mind takes it from there. Lastly, I listen to music or read (things that I love) before I start writing.

Being a writer demands the ability to step back, step forward, and walk in another's shoes, which inevitably are your own.

Big-time writers block , for weeks or months, are just not a problem for me. I know how to coax my imagination. The shorter blocks for me are reasons to go for a walk or write something else.
