While my educational background is in engineering, I have started working on the issue of youth employment when, eight years ago, I started the company www.jobzippers.com, where we bridge the gap between the education system and the labor market through the use of technology. Six years ago I then joined the FutureWork Forum as a partner and 2 years ago I received a PhD for a study about the effectiveness and efficiency of active labor market programs that help unemployed transition to self-employment.

From there, things happened quite fast. In January 2013 I gave a TEDx talk (www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6TRnLoYdtA) and shortly after I was asked by Palgrave MacMillan to write a book on the issue. Since then I have been working on “Generation Jobless?”.
