Procrastination

Something I'm good at. Or rather I get too many things going at once then I forget about thing A and dive into thing B. Then thing C comes along.

If I would focus more appropriately....but I know I won't so I've learned to embrace this about myself. When I finished the final edits for Finding Trouble in December I gave myself a few weeks to sit back. I have a few other projects going but they weren't important - I needed to breathe and spend some time with my family.

Now January is here. As with anytime I end a novel I find myself flitting between the few projects or starting a new one. It's not because I don't intend to finish the first but my brain takes a little bit of time to just go crazy with ideas, characters, and words. By the end of the month I'll have found my focus and work will begin in earnest on the project I am in love with. Which I hate the title for.

I think if I could come up with a better title the project would excite me more so - here's to Feb's productiveness (and new titles).

-----I'm hoping to blog a bit about the process this novel goes through to keep me more focused and well, for your amusement?
