Linda had two things in life she dreamed about growing up on Long Island, New York: living in the mountain west and writing a novel. Twenty two years ago she, her husband, two children, a dog and cat, moved from Florida and traveled for six weeks in a 22 foot trailer to see the roads less traveled in the United States and Canada. They settled in Montana.
After various jobs, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Theology, and many, many half written stories later, Linda felt compelled to continue with her dream to write a novel. Four hand written notebooks later, the first novel went from a dream to a reality.

Early on I was told that and it has always proven to be true. I just 'write', even if it doesn't make sense in the book. I can go back and pull out or change it later. Ideas flow from my head and if I write them, something I need comes out.(less)

I have been making up stories my whole life, as a child it was a 'place to go' and be alone. Someone asked me once where my 'private space' was as a child, a closet, a bedroom, a favorite spot outside. I told them it was in my head, making up stories. I could be in a conversation with someone and a story would play in my mind. I discovered as a mid-life adult that I could share these stories, so for me it was like discovering a new adventure to put them on paper.(less)
