J. R. Walker is, well, he's a giant geek. There's really no getting around that. As a young kid, he was obsessed with Godzilla. As an older kid, he was obsessed with Star Wars. Now, as an adult, he's obsessed with both those things and a lot more.

He started off as an avid reader at a fairly young age. He consumed the Goosebumps series by R.L. Stine as though they were life-giving water (and to this day, still has over 40 of the original 62 on his bookshelf). By the fourth grade, he was reading Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. It wasn't until his junior year of high school, however, that he discovered a passion for writing.

Once bitten by the bug, he mostly wrote Star Wars fan fiction (which can be read here) as a means of honing his skill
