More Relatable Metaphors

I've arrived in Franklin, TN to attend the Tribe Conference, which is starting tomorrow. I have a lot of edits of Your Creative Career to do before.
I wrote About the Author page on the flight over here and asked my interviewees for signed release forms. I decided on the hashtags: #YourCreativeCareerBook and #YCCBook. I got a note from the editor that I need to make a few of my examples in the book more relatable. It's going to be a long writing evening for me.
41 people marked the book as "want to read" on Goodreads. This is encouraging! I also keep checking the Amazon rank, which I should stop. The book isn't even out yet.

Your Creative Career progress - September Editing Sessions
9/13/2017I have just submitted references to the publisher and realized I read 73 books, lots of studies and articles, conducted interviews. I'm about to send the release forms to those I interviewed and I'll be working on a section needing developmental edits. All this is due this Friday to the editor, then line editing starts on the 16th.
I'm not sure they realized it's a Saturday but maybe days of the week don't matter in the publishing world. I've lost track to be honest.
