I did many things in life before I started writing. I knew from an early age I wanted to write, but was always afraid of wasting my time, of failing. Finally, I was no longer capable of ignoring myself and began writing my first novel, Indian Paintbrush. It was 7 years in the making, writing in my limited spare time after work, before work, sometimes during work. Eventually, I reached a point of much lower stress and lower responsibility and am able to write most anytime I want.

My wife, Sharon, and I sold our house in mid 2012 and have been happily living and traveling in our RV where and when we want since then. The places, people, and things we see along the way are my inspiration. I believe this is the beginning of a lifetime of making ...more
