What Scares You?
What Scares You?
What causes your heart to pound? What brings on the nightmares? Is it everyday things, the news or the monster that goes thump in the night?
I get scared by what I see going on in the world. People killing people because of religion or the color of their skin. God commanded us to love each other unconditionally. Like it or not, we must look out for our brothers and sisters.
All this hatred and violence must stop before the mighty hand with sword comes down and smites us into oblivion.

Highway Traveler
Life is like going down a long highway. Every town, pit stop or roadside attraction is a lesson to be learned.
What will you find at each place? Love? Acceptance? Peace? War? Religion? Or will you come across something truly terrifying? Have you stepped from the Outer Limits into the Twilight Zone? Did time freeze when horrific events such as 9/11 or Virginia Tech, Columbine, Oklahoma City, or Orlando occurred?
How is it that we, as a people, have come to accept prejudice, fear and hate mongering as everyday life? What happened to ‘love thy neighbor’ and ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you?’
America, we need to stop the violence. We must look beyond a person’s skin, culture, creed, sex, and orientation. We have to accept our differences and find a way to love each other truly not just during the days and weeks of a horrific event.

The Road Leaving Eden
As I travel along my life’s journey I have become acquainted with both the good and the evil that people can inflict.
What makes them do good things? Is it the feeling of the spirit filling the soul? Does a desire to help better someone’s life or day enter into the picture? It is it greed such as the recognition and fame a person can gleam from a good will gesture?
Subsequently, what makes a person do evil? Did a dark spirit take over their soul? Are some people born naturally evil?
What is truly horrific; a heretic, a mass murder, a natural disaster, or something paranormal?
