A first attempt.
Deciding to take time out from editing my next book (Engaging Evil) I thought that I would start my presence here on Goodreads. One problem with this, I did it with no idea what I was going to write about.
All I can say is that I am around half way through a major rewrite of the volume and that I am a lot happier with it after I have finished each chapter.
Once this has been done I intend to polish off a few short stories about Vhast. These will explore the back story of several of the minor characters who will appear in either book 2 or later. Their back story is irrelevant to the plot as a whole, but some are too interesting not to appear somewhere. You will get to see (at least) the runaway mistress of a Duke, a priest who happens to be a werewolf, possibly a look at a tribe of neolithic goblins, and a few others.
