How to Write on Many Different Topics

Nowadays I ghost write for others just as much as I write for myself. I have orders to write for different blogs on a weekly basis. The articles I write for others often do not lye in the travel or history category, as I do for myself. This switching is often viewed challenging by others, as they tend to stick to one category. It seems to come naturally to me. I can write about 5 different articles in the same day that would cover anything from honeymoons in Ireland to wheelchair descriptions. How do I do it? It is actually very simple, I visualize the reader in front of me. It could be a young female or 50+ male with restricted capability. This sets the tone of the writing and conveys information that they would be interested in from the start. It is the most important part of the planning and getting down-to-it-writing. I may also review a product or destination with that reader in mind, always the reader in mind. I then tend to bring in some conversational bits into my writing, this works well for engagement and last but not least, I go over and see where I can expand to add value. A very short first blog post. I hope this post helps anyone who is thinking to start a freelance writing career or just write creatively for oneself.
