✨ Cover Reveal ✨

It’s finally here, the cover for my WIP and 6th book in my Scarlet Salon series.

The minute I saw the original picture for the cover I knew it would be perfect for this book. Besides the hair color, which is spot on for both main characters, the female model looks flirty and the younger man looks smitten.

The curtain background was my designer’s idea which is brilliant because of Charlotte’s acting and role-play. So it fit in nicely.

Kudos to Tara from SFD who always does an amazing job on my covers. Looking forward to wrapping up the last few chapters in this book!

New title: The Reluctant Madam

Happy Summer everyone! Writing is always slower for me this time of the year; with such a short summer up here in Canada my social life goes into hyper drive. Not that I’m complaining 😊 but I’m happy to report that I’ve started working on Book 6 in my Regency romance series The Scarlet Salon.

The next novel/novella (the characters haven’t decided yet) revolves around Charlotte Hornsby, a nobleman’s bastard turned actress turned high-end courtesan. Charlotte has been mentioned or appeared in most of the books to date, but we get to know her best in Book 2 An Eye for an Earl. She’s a sympathetic character, a mistress of role-play and a good friend.

I felt it was time for Charlotte to get her own happily ever after and I’m introducing a new male love interest who’s loosely related to characters from previous novels. He’s going to be a bit challenging to write since he has a form of high functioning autism, a condition nowhere close to being identified in the early 1800s. But I’m excited to see if I’m up to writing a realistic (not cartoonish) and complex character.

The title came to me surprisingly easily as I decided to give Madam Sophie a break and introduce another interim brothel madam in the form of Charlotte. Synopsis and cover to follow in the upcoming months.

I wish you all a safe and fun-filled summer ☀ and as always Happy Reading!

Glitter and Ink collide in “Glitterland“

Overall rating: ❤❤❤❤❤

Heat level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Sub-genre: Contemporary, M/M romance 🌈

Trope: Opposites attract/Different worlds

This book came out of nowhere and wrecked me!! I picked this up not expecting anything really and was blown away by its charm and rawness. The characters were so unexpected and intensely lovable.

What do you get when you mix a bi-polar depressed writer with a glittery, happy-go-lucky model? A one of a kind romance and super hot sex scenes.

Simply put I loved the characters! Even though Ash was a mess and had struggled with mental illness, he was a successful writer and had a wit and charm about him. Darian on the other hand was serious book boyfriend material. He’s from Essex (with the cutest accent ever, janarwhatamean?) and while he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed he was wonderful.

This was a true opposites attract kind of romance. Ash and Darian have absolutely nothing in common and they come from very different background but it works. Mostly because Darian is such a nice guy who refuses to give up on Ash. I actually think he was too good for him, but I respect his choice!

Do yourself a favor and read this book. It’s absolutely worth it!

Cover Reveal – The Earl & the Peahen

I’m thrilled to share the cover of my latest WIP: The Earl and the Peahen

Cover design by Fantasia Frog Designs

This is the 5th book in my Regency romance series The Scarlet Salon. The expected release date of is February 2021.

The heroine of this book, Jane Mayfield, made an appearance in book 3 The Baroness Affair. Why a Peahen you may wonder? Simply put, Jane is exceedingly plain and unimpressive in appearance, just like a peahen, and yet she can command the attention of a gorgeous strutting peacock aka the Earl of Norwich.
