Writer's block usually happens when I'm stuck in a day-to-day routine where nothing is changing, so I shake things up. I go for a hike somewhere new or explore the city. I step outside my comfort zone.

I meet up with friends and discuss what I'm working on, letting them tell me what they think should or shouldn't happen. Different perspectives can bring new ideas to the table that can inspire you to get writing again!(less)
