The Hue of the Review...in Neon
Dipped in an intense hue of neon green, Reviews by Cat Ellington: The Complete Anthology, Vol. 6 continues the journey through the analytical world of literary criticism with the next collection of critiques...That's right, baby. The next collection of examinations is wrapped up in a shade of green inspired by both the poster art for Wicked (the musical) and the spirit of envy that consumes many of the fictional characters under my critique in the volume. And it was a joy to compose. Joining me, once again, to contribute bonus material to the effort is none other than Ms. Naras Kimono. And I must say that it was a sheer pleasure to work with her on this, my 6th narrative in the series and her third. Come November 9th, 2021, we will be back on the literary criticism scene in neon green.

The woman who writes?
It is she who imagines;
she who makes love with wisdom.
Poems hug paintings
and kiss critiques in The Arts.

My new (book) series, The Arts, will debut with (Thrillers) book one, featuring (black) crows in watercolor (paintings) and a collection of Tanka poetry, which I incorporated to pay tribute to the Japanese art form and complement my analyses in the issue.

Thrillers in Tanka - Book 1 in Cat Ellington's The Arts Series - Set for March 2025 Release
"Evil Company"
The crows are preening,
while darkness plumes, veiling light;
the hosts are born of error,
and their deeds corrupt—
even the morally sound.
(Chuckling) I'm having too much fun making up Tanka poems for the promotions leading up to the release date of The Arts of Literary Criticism: Thrillers in Tanka, Book 1 – the first issue in my latest series, The Arts.
March 27, 2025, is on the horizon and will be here before we know it, baby. So I'ma keep it goin', you know, by making up Tanka poems that are not included in the book as a bridge gap until the release date.
And we're walking ... And we walkin' ...
