New Comic Book!
Hello Good Reads,
My last blog post was teasing the evolution of AURORA AND THE EAGLE. This blog post is to set the date:
MARCH 1st, 2022!
Visit the LANDING PAGE & click NOTIFY ME ON LAUNCH to get a friendly little email the second I publish these goodies!
I'm calling this project AURORA AND THE EAGLE #1 Remix because it is a 48 page return to my Original Canadian Superhero - AURORA BOREALIS!
That's the OG 20 pages + 28 NEW PAGES!
The first campaign was digital comics only and this new & improved longer-than-ever-before prestige issue features both digital and printed copies.
I would be so honoured if you would support the campaign, snap up one of the rewards where you have an opportunity to collaborate with me, and help me explore the intersection of identity politics and superheroics! Aurora is going to have to step up and save her mentor, The Eagle, uncover his secret, and come to terms with the secret conspiracy which put these events into motion.
This is my most personal comic book project to date. I want you on my team!
My goal is to have 100 people signed up for notifications by launch day. Will YOU support me?

Aurora & The Eagle?
Something I've been asked about over the years is the continuation of AURORA & THE EAGLE. In 2019 I ran a Kickstarter campaign to tell a story I'd been stewing on for quite a while - AURORA & THE EAGL!
The campaign was a shared effort to create a new original indie comic book AND to pay my then immigration bills.
Tomorrow will mark 1 month since I was granted American citizenship. This huge change in my life has heralded a lot of new creativity. Chapters closing and new things to say. With this rush of energy has come a reconnection with the A&E creative team and more Unity League adventures on the horizon!

It is written by my collaborator, Jason Inman and is his take on Superman! If you listen to Geek History Lesson you know how much Superman means to him. I have been the beta reader for SUPER BEST FRIEND in the years it's been in development and I promise you it is completely amazing.
"WELCOME TO TOMORROW CITY! Where young Mattie Moore has always had many friends, including the renowned Captain Terrific, the world’s greatest superhero! Because of this close shared friendship, Mattie is always the first man at any crime scene they call Captain Terrific to. He records the captain’s acts of heroism for the world to see on a channel lovingly called “SUPER BEST FRIEND.” These videos have garnered Mattie fame, celebrity, and friendships with all the superheroes in the world. However, it’s Mattie’s friendship with Terrific that means the most to him. "
