Lisa-Marie Cabrelli mostly writes fun, flirty beach reads but a recent re-entry to education has her shifting her writing focus. She graduated with Distinction from the University of Dundee earning an MLitt in Crime Writing and Forensic Investigation. She also won the Val McDermid prize for best dissertation which was a portion of her upcoming novel, Bad Boys. She's currently working on the first book in a dystopian trilogy while pursuing a Ph.D. in Creative Writing, also with University of Dundee.

Lisa-Marie is a digital nomad, living on the road with her husband, but primarily hanging in Scotland, Italy, Florida and The Bahamas. She has a grown-up daughter who she misses every day.
