Joey Acker is a bestselling author and illustrator known for creating irreverent, read-aloud children’s books that do not take themselves too seriously. He is the creator of The Worst Book in the Whole Entire World and the Worst World Works™ series, along with the co-creator of the Thoughtful Bots and Wonder Who Crew series. His work spans both classroom-friendly titles and deliberately “non-educational” books built purely for laughs, often blurring the line between the two. His books are used by educators, enjoyed by families, and occasionally questioned by adults who were expecting something more traditional. He is currently working on new titles that continue to expand his distinct brand of humor-driven storytelling.
