Hi, everyone! I'm so excited to announce the issuance of my latest book!

Fervid Frenzy is the fifth book in my series chronicling Cathy’s life experiences. This tantalizing, humorous, and unexpectedly romantic story follows her journey of introspection and self-discovery as she comes to grips with her fervid needs after the death of her husband.

Though realizing it’s perfectly normal to once again desire intimacy, Cathy hates herself for feeling this way. Yet, she cannot deny her burning cravings.

While her body might be ready for this life-changing event, her mind isn’t quite on board yet. As much as she wants to break out of her widow’s cocoon, she is paralyzed by fear to act on her unspeakable yearnings.

When she does happen upon a potential companion, Cathy doesn’t know how to react to the thought of him actually becoming a sex partner. Will she ever be ready, willing and able to take that first needed step towards physical contentment?

Here's our final interview with Lloyd (L) and Duane (D), Cathy's dearest friends at Zestful Acres.

How did you meet Cathy? L: “At the dog park.” D: “In Zestful Acres, where we all live.”

What was your first impression of her? L: “I’m afraid it wasn’t a very good one at first, because of her dog.” D: “Yes, Bertha, her Rottweiler. Most of us were scared of her. The dog, that is, not Cathy.”

Describe your relationship with her. D: “We’re very close. The three of us get together all the time. And we talk about everything.” L: “She is part of our family. I’d say she’s like the sister I never had.” D: “Well, I have a sister, but I don’t like her as much as I like Cathy.”

What do you consider your best quality? L: “I’d like to think we’re very welcoming people.” D: “Yeah, and I think we are both good hosts, too.”

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? L: “Duane and I have been together for so long, I can’t really give you an answer to that.” D: “I can: someone that doesn’t help clean up after I serve them a nice meal.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? L: “Sometimes I’m a bit too blunt when responding to others.” D: “I wish I could lose some weight.” L: (Patting his hand.) “You look perfectly fine to me.” D: (Smiling.) “Awww, thanks, hon.”

Describe yourself in three words. L: “Honest, friendly, and stylish.” D: “A good cook.” L: “Dear, I think they were looking for more than just that.” D: “Oh.” (Giggles, but offers no other comments.)

Any regrets? L: “I wish I’d never introduced Cathy to my brother.” D: (Flashes him a quizzical look.) “What do you mean by that?”

My interviews will now move onto the characters of my last two books, "My Zestful Years" and "The Last Two Thousand Miles". We'll talk with Lando first.

How did you meet Cathy? “We met playing ping pong at Zestful Acres, where we both lived.”

What was your first impression of her? “From the first time I laid eyes on her, I knew I was in trouble.”

In what respect? “I was smitten as all get out. And married.”

Describe your relationship with her. “At first, we just hung out together at ping pong. Then somehow I found the gumption to start up an affair with her. And things just continued from there.”

What do you consider your best quality? “I’m a loyal person.”

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? “I reckon when the other person doesn’t care about my feelings anymore.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? “If I had my druthers, I wouldn’t be so gosh darn sensitive.”

Describe yourself in three words. “Devoted, loving, and a big old dancing fool.”

Any regrets? “Truth be told, I just wish Cathy and I had more time together.”

The last interview from characters in "Wandering Towards Normal" is with George. I have to admit, I had the best time writing about this guy because he is such a major tool!

How did you meet Cathy? “I responded to her personal ad. Initially met for lunch since we worked near each other.”

What was your first impression of her? “She was attractive, successful, and conscientious. And I was definitely interested.”

Describe your relationship with her. “I like to spoil women, and she took me up on my offer. It led to us becoming inseparable.”

Define ‘spoil’ for us. “Taking them to the best restaurants. Escorting them to the theatre. Sending them flowers regularly. Always being attentive and complimenting them. Picking up the tab when we travel together. I spare no expense!”

What do you consider your best quality? “I’m a true gentleman.”

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? “Someone who doesn’t appreciate my thoughtfulness.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? “I wish I wasn’t such a pushover with women. Maybe then I’d be more successful in finding the right one.”

Describe yourself in three words. “Generous. Enthusiastic. Indulgent.”

Any regrets? “Finding out the hard way she wasn’t actually my true love.”

Today's interview is with "Randy Andy" from the book "Wandering Towards Normal".

How did you meet Cathy? “She and I both worked for the same company. We had a few training courses together.”

What was your first impression of her? “She was definitely doable.”

Describe your relationship with her. “There’s no other way to put it: I had her on my fuck list. But that’s just my take on most women.”

And was your quest successful? (Smiles broadly.) “It may have taken me years to get there, but eventually it was.”

What do you consider your best quality? “I’m a persistent SOB.” (Laughs.)

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? “As the song goes, ‘Baby, Baby Don’t Get Hooked on Me’.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? “I’d love to be able to sing! I can’t carry a tune in a bucket, that’s for damn sure.”

Describe yourself in three words. “Friendly, funny, and frisky.”

Any regrets? “Yeah. I finally got into her pants, then I had to leave the next day. That sucked.”

We'll now be interviewing Ted, a very memorable character from my novel "Wandering Towards Normal".

How did you meet Cathy? “I first contacted her through a personal ad, then we met up at a bar.”

What was your first impression of her? “I definitely liked what I saw.”

Describe your relationship with her. “She was my favorite plaything. We had some really hot sex. Lots of it, too.”

What do you consider your best quality? “I’m persistent. I can’t tell you how many times I called Cathy before she finally agreed to meet me.”

Why was she so hesitant? “Because I was a college student, and she was in her forties.”

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? “I just want to have fun. If someone starts getting serious, I’m out of there pronto.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? “I wish I wasn’t so broke all the time.”

Describe yourself in three words. “Charming, skilled, and well hung.”

Any regrets? “I was a bit disappointed when Cathy was no longer available, but there’s plenty of other fish out there.”

The next character up at bat from "Wandering Towards Normal" is Roy, one of the many people Cathy interacts with during the course of this book.

How did you meet Cathy? “It’s kind of embarrassing, but I answered her personal ad.”

What was your first impression of her? “She was okay.”

Well, that’s certainly an enthusiastic reply. (Shrugging.) “I wasn’t real impressed.”

Describe your relationship with her. “I’d go to her house a lot and hang out. That’s all; we never had anything serious going on. Not really.”

What do you consider your best quality? “I’ve been told many times that I look like Roger Clemens.” (Note: for those non-baseball fans out there, he’s a former Boston Red Sox pitcher.)

What about your ability to suck a mean toe? (Laughs.) “Oh, yeah, that too.”

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? “Someone who fucks around on you.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? “I’m always late. I wish I could get my shit together in that respect.”

Describe yourself in three words. “Ummm...I love sports, music, and beer.”

Any regrets? “I wish things didn’t end so badly between Cathy and me. I miss hanging out at her place.”

My book, "Wandering Towards Normal", contains a variety of characters, so we're going to interview a few of the more memorable ones. Let's start with Bob, one of Cathy's business contacts.

How did you meet Cathy? “I was her point of contact when she came out to examine the books and records at my company.”

What was your first impression of her? “I thought, it’s about time they sent someone young out here rather than the usual old male fucks.”

That’s funny; she thought the same about you. “Really?” (Laughs heartily.)

Describe your relationship with her. “I’ll admit it, I had the hots for her, but I could never get anywhere with her.”

Because? “It would have been a conflict of interest, and she had a lot more scruples than I did.”

What do you consider your best quality? “I don’t give up easily.” (Laughs).

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? “I’d say screwing around is a big one.”

But yet you pursued Cathy. “You caught me.” (Laughs). “I’m just full of shit.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? “To be less abrasive. That’s what people who know me would probably say, anyway.”

Describe yourself in three words. “A cocky pain in the ass.”

Any regrets? “I should have gone for it with Cathy when I did have the chance.”

Our next interview is with Corey, Cathy's coworker and confidant. He is a featured character in both "Love, Despair and Other Heartaches" and "Wandering Towards Normal".

How did you meet Cathy? “We both worked at an accounting firm. I was just there part-time while I was in college. We’d hang out together during our breaks.”

What was your first impression of her? “She seemed awfully sad.”

Describe your relationship with her. “She was hard to get to know to begin with, but we eventually became good friends both in and outside of work. She’s pretty cool, even though she’s way older than me.”

What do you consider your best quality? “I think if someone’s not in a great mood, I try to help them get out of it.”

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? “I haven’t really been seriously involved with anyone, but off the top of my head I’d have to say lack of chemistry.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? (Responds with a shrug.)

Describe yourself in three words. “Ambitious, thoughtful, and reliable.”

Any regrets? “I wish I hadn’t quit that job just when Cathy needed me the most.”

This next interview is with Dan, Cathy's love interest in my book "Love, Despair and Other Heartaches".

How did you meet Cathy? “I worked at the same accounting firm as she did, but in a different state. Our paths crossed at a conference.”

What was your first impression of her? “I was definitely interested in her. Not only because of her looks; she was obviously competent in her job, too.”

Describe your relationship with her. “I was in love with her, plus she was my best friend. There was a period when she was the most important person in my life.”

What do you consider your best quality? “I like to help people, so I try to be there for them whenever they need me.”

What kind of help? “Well, I’m one of seven kids, so a lot of them will come to me for advice on different things, like life choices or relationships.”

Relationship advice? Aren’t you married? (Hesitates before responding.) "Yes."

But you were having an affair with Cathy. So, how are you the appropriate person to go to for relationship input? (Silence for several moments.) “Let’s move on, okay?”

What’s a relationship deal-breaker for you? “When someone doesn’t make me feel good about myself.”

What is the one thing you’d change about yourself? “My drinking.”

Describe yourself in three words. “Loyal, caring, and hard-working.”

Any regrets? “Yes; leaving behind damning evidentiary matter.”
