Jon Coffey is a writer, storyteller, and sports enthusiast. He grew up in the lower peninsula of Michigan before moving to Texas in his early 20s. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Michigan State University.

Jon works full-time as a content writer, editor, and student ministry director for Clear Creek Community Church, a non-denominational church located near Houston. He currently resides in League City, Texas, with his wife Brianna, their two children, and their dog, Piper.

"What and who inspired you to write Super: A Memoir?"

I’ve always loved the work of C.S. Lewis because of his ability to take extremely complex idea and write a story that casually discusses the topic. J.R.R. Tolkein was similarly gifted. Their skills in distilling the big questions of life down into digestible (not to mention entertaining) books was always something I wanted to at least attempt. I decided to shoot my shot with SUPER: A Memoir.
