Challenges of Writing your debut novel
Gautam MarwahaWhen I started writing my first novel, 'The Eleventh Indian', I wrote the first draft in 40 days. The word count was 48,000 words and I felt I was a born writer. I felt that I was right up there with the literary giants. Over a period of three years before I finally found a traditional publisher, the word count went up to 80,000 words.
