Akiva Hersh earned degrees in neurolinguistics and theology, and he writes novels about LGBTQ+ issues, bullying, sexuality, and abuse.

Akiva's debut novel BOY IN THE HOLE was released in October 2019, the week of National Coming Out Day.

His forthcoming novel, The Magus and The Fool, is a Queer and Trans-positive retelling of The Great Gatsby.
