I'm sad to have to report that my elation over the opening of the village bar was somewhat premature. After a few brief days it closed it's doors again. Boo boo. I'm not an alcoholic but miss the social aspects of the bar atmosphere.

Big day today. The village bar opened today after two months. Wayhay. We were sitting on the terrace drinking wine and eating tapas in the sunshine after a two month lockdown.

Feeling great. After two whole months of lockdown here in Spain we're being allowed to walk outside for one hour. Even better still, the village bar can open on Monday. One thing I can't wait for is a trip to the hairdresser. After two months my hair looks like a bird's nest. How are things going with everyone else? Hope you're all staying safe.

We're now into our 6th week of lockdown in Spain. We've been allowed out for one hour to walk in the hills as from yesterday. Fortunately I haven't forgotten how to use my legs. The dog is so excited. He can't understand why he hasn't been allowed the same freedom he enjoyed before. You can't explain these things to a dog.

Hi everyone, hope you are all bearing up under lockdown. Here in Spain we have another three weeks to go. I've been experiment with lots of new recipes. I've been concentrating on my reading and writing.
