How do you deal with writer’s block?

Rory McFarlan I just push through and continue writing, even if it is terrible. It usually gets me past the block. I can always fix it later in editing. If I am really stuck, I switch to another part of the story or a different story altogether for a while.(less)

I just released my debut novel, "Nephi's Courage". It tells the story of Nephi Willard, a gay Mormon trying to find where he fits in the world. He runs into opposition both inside and outside of the church on his journey to understand his identity. This story of loss, love, and identity is both heartbreaking and redeeming.
