The release date is December 22nd for my contribution to JMS Books’ Naughty or Nice seasonal stories. My story has a bit of twinkly Christmas magic with a Regency setting, where during rehearsals for an amateur reading of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Puck is invoked to cause mischief amongst the cast with his love potions!
Matthew Lewis is trapped at a Christmas country house party by snowy weather and forced to take part in a reading of a Midsummer Night’s Dream. To make things worse, his lost love Crispin Marley, to whom he has sworn undying hatred, is amongst the guests. Can some fairy magic from Puck help the estranged couple to make amends for once and all?

This 17k-word novella is set in the 1920s, about two ordinary working men, still adjusting to civilian life after WW1 and finding love at Christmas. Season of Joy is in the 25% off new release sale at JMS Books until December 20th.
