On Regret
This will be a quick blog post detailing a feeling I'm sure many writers relate to—regret.
Unwisely, I did not destroy my first and second novel before releasing them to the world. The result of this was a wound upon the psyche of those who read them. By the time I had written the next few, I was well aware that practice was necessary. The transition from screenplays to novels is more than a little messy.
Pay no mind to The Misophorism Trilogy's first edition or To Sing of Damnation. Pretend they don't exist. Wipe the slate clean.
If you enjoyed them, thank you. If you didn't, I understand why. Both—the first edition of The Misophorism Trilogy and To Sing of Damnation—inspire the immediate urge to hang myself upon reading.
More books, and better books, are coming. Until then, the second edition of The Misophorism Trilogy is better than the first.
