Update ♥
Hi guys!
I just found out this blog feature exists, so I thought I’d give you all a quick update. The Love Act is currently not available for sale — I took it down so I could make some revisions. It’s the first book I ever wrote, and back when I published it, I was a student with no money to pay for editing and proofreading services. A few weeks ago, I reread it and found some typos and other errors/things I wasn't happy with. These ended up haunting my every waking moment, so I’ve taken the book down and sent it off to an editor :)
The book will be re-uploaded in the next few months (I’m expecting in July) with some revisions and probably a new cover; it will also include a few scenes that were originally cut from the manuscript. I’m super sorry for anyone who wanted to read or re-read it before then, but I 100% promise it will be back soon! KDP has told me it should still be available to anyone who purchased a copy, so hopefully that’s the case.
In terms of what’s been going on with me: it’s been a crazy few years. I released TLA right at the beginning of the pandemic, which ended up hitting me pretty hard. For a long time, I couldn’t write at all. I was also very focussed on finishing up my degree (I made the Dean’s List, thanks for all the applause) and started working full-time. I have started writing again, and I am hoping to release more books on this pen name, but since I have absolutely no idea when this will happen, I won't say anything else -- I don’t want to keep anyone waiting :)
For a few personal and business-related reasons, I really can’t give any more info than this to you guys at the moment (I know that sucks!) but I just wanted to reassure those of you that were concerned that The Love Act isn’t gone forever and will be back! Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the book and supported it! Hopefully I'll have some more updates for you soon ♥
