I work in product and build apps as a hobby.

My latest project is Leafed, a privacy-first book discovery app born from a simple frustration: why should recommendation engines trade your reading habits for algorithms?

Leafed keeps your data where it belongs, on your device. No accounts, no tracking. Just you and your next great read.

I also write Product Party, a newsletter where I share insights on building better products and navigating the tech world.

When I'm not building or writing, I support nonprofits focused on education, community resources, and civic engagement. I believe technology should empower people, not exploit them.

Always hunting for my next book recommendation. What's yours?

Love, demystified by Dr. Jasmine
"I approached Love Demystified with a mix of curiosity and skepticism—skepticism because, as a gay Jewish man, I’ve read far too many “universal” relationship books that quietly assume everyone is straight, married, and celebrating. But she eventually" Read more of this review »

Charles Duhigg
“Creativity is just connecting things,” Apple cofounder Steve Jobs said in 1996. “When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things. And the reason they were able to do that was that they’ve had more experiences or they have thought more about their experiences than other people.”

Charles Duhigg
“Every choice we make in life is an experiment. Every day offers fresh opportunities to find better decision-making frames. We live in a time when data is more plentiful, cheaper to analyze, and easier to translate into action than ever before. Smartphones, websites, digital databases, and apps put information at our fingertips. But it only becomes useful if we know how to make sense of it.”
Charles Duhigg, Smarter Faster Better: The Secrets of Being Productive in Life and Business

Malcolm Gladwell
“The Stickiness Factor says that there are specific ways of making a contagious message memorable; there are relatively simple changes in the presentation and structuring of information that can make a big difference in how much of an impact it makes.”

“These people who link us up with the world, who bridge Omaha and Sharon, who introduce us to our social circles—these people on whom we rely more heavily than we realize—are Connectors, people with a special gift for bringing the world together.”
