GUESS WHAT Y'ALL?

I've sent my manuscript to the beta readers! *cue happy dance* Originally, I was planning to hold off until March, but I finished my own editing process early, so I opened it up early. Yay!

I'm hoping that all told, I'll release this one in summer of 2021, but we'll see how things go. Hopefully, I'll have a blurb for you all soon. *fingers crossed*

Hello out there! (I always wanted to say that.)

I haven't blogged in quite some time, and I've never blogged on Goodreads, so this is all quite new to me. I'm not sure how to begin this, so I take my husband's advice and just...begin.

I finally decided to officially participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). In the past, I would write during November, but I wouldn't post on the site. Well, this year, I went for it. And I met my goal! I ended up writing 50,000 words by November 21st, and I couldn't be more thrilled about my progress.

But now what? The book I wrote is actually part of a series, so I have some serious revisions and editing to do, to make sure it flows with the first book. I'm excited to do it - am I the only one who loves the editing process? - but it will be a tad overwhelming. There are so many moving parts in this one that to tie it up in a neat little bow will take more than 50k words. I'm thinking 80k, possibly 90k.
